Service Description / Overview

The Podiatry department provides services to both inpatients and outpatients in the community. Services include routine and general care; bio-mechanical assessments; orthotic prescriptions and manufacture; paediatric assessment; care of skin conditions; ulcers and difficult toe-nails; footwear and footcare advice for people with diabetes, arthritis or poor circulation.

Footcare education talks are given to interested community groups.

Wimmera Nursing Home residents are provided a monthly service.
