Service Description / Overview

The Rehabilitation Service aims to give patients the opportunity to develop the ability to function as independently as possible to enable them to return to their previous lifestyles. The service offers a multi-disciplinary service which includes assessment and treatment/care from physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, continence consultant, medical and nursing staff.
The Service Unit includes a kitchen and dining activities area, where patients with disabilities can be helped to re-learn daily activities.
The Service includes assessment and advice on modifications required to the patients home situation, as needed.
