Service Description / Overview

The Domicilary Midwife will visit the home of mothers, if requested, following discharge from hospital. Available to all mothers and infants, particularly those discharged prior to day five after birth. The Midwives provide the domicilary postnatal service with current skills in the care of mothers and newborn infants. The service is available six days a week, with an on-call service on Sundays.
